Helpful hints
After receiving your new hearing aids:
- wear them 2 to 3 hours at a time the first 2-3 days
- remove them and allow your ears to rest for an hour
- then place them back onto your ears for another 2 to 3 hours
Continue to do this on a regular schedule during the first few days.
After three days begin wearing your new aids all day but still remove them during the mid-afternoon [allowing your ears to rest] for about an hour during the balance of the first week.
Week number two wear your new aids all day, but if needed remove them for an hour or so at the mid-day for another week.
